Repair - Recone

Pro Sound Service Inc. is factory authorized from the following manufacturers to perform warranty repairs and recone service:

In addition to being a factory authorized distributor we are the northeast regional service and repair center for many of the manufacturers that we represent. This means that no matter who you purchase gear from, chances are it will come to us for repair.  Many of our clients recognize the distinct advantage that gives them when it is time for maintenance and repair.  Rush repairs are not a problem for our valued customers.

 

Ship your unit to us, we will repair it & ship it back to you!  We repair professional audio equipment used in professional environments such as for stadiums, theaters, convention centers, bands,  restaurants, DJ and nightclubs.  With our full complement of test equipment, our professionally trained technicians will diagnose, repair and calibrate your pro audio equipment.

We use only original or better quality replacement parts.  We test run all units prior to shipping to ensure reliability and proper operation.  We thoroughly check each unit to make sure all functions are working as designed.  We understand that your equipment is important to you, and we take pride and satisfaction in returning it to you in working condition.

 

WARRANTY ITEMS: Service Return Authorization Form
 

When sending your unit to Pro Sound Service, please make sure all of the following is included:
1.  If the unit is under warranty you MUST submit a copy of the original receipt with our SRA Form for the repair to be considered a warranty repair.  Sorry, no exeptions.

* If no original receipt is submitted with this SRA Request, the repair will be considered a non-warranty repair and you will be charged for repair costs.

 

2.  Place a piece of masking tape on each item sent in and clearly write the SRA# and your name.

 

3.  All repairs must be shipped in factory packing only.  PSS will not be responsible for any shipping damage.  Damage claims are to be filed with the carrier and are the responsibilty of the customer.

 

4.  Items shipped to PSS must include a copy of the completed SRA Request Form and the SRA# must be clearly written on the outside of the package.  Any packages received without the SRA# clearly written on the outside of the package will be refused.  Shipping address as follows:

PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • All "no problem found" repairs will incur a bench charge, as well as a return shipping charge.
  • All non-warranty repairs are payable by credit card only (NO COD OR BILLING).
  • Items not called for within 60 days will be disposed of.

We can help get your vintage JBL speakers up and running like the good 'ol days.  Original replacement parts are available for some models, as well as quality parts for upgrading or repairing crossovers and level controls.  If original parts are no longer available for your speaker, we can find you the closest available replacement.  We also can fit your existing cabinets with all new high quality drivers and crossovers. 

 

Our service division of the company operates in a 5,000 square foot facility with best of class repair technicians and bench equipment.
