Repair Policy

 

Pro Sound Service Inc. repairs/recones pro audio equipment used in professional environments such as stadiums, theaters, restaurants, bands, DJ's and nightclubs.  With our full complement of test equipment, our professionally trained technicians will diagnose, repair and calibrate your pro audio equipment.

We use only original or better quality replacement parts.  We test run all units prior to shipping to ensure reliability and proper operation.  We thoroughly check each unit to make sure all functions are working as designed.  We understand that your equipment is important to you, and we take pride and satisfaction in returning it to you in working condition.
 

 

We do NOT repair any home stereo or car stereo equipment. 

 

When sending your unit to Pro Sound Service, please make sure all of the following is included:
1.  If the unit is under warranty you MUST submit a copy of the original receipt with our SRA Form for the repair to be considered a warranty repair.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
* If no original receipt is submitted with this SRA Request, the repair will be considered a non-warranty repair and you will be charged for repair costs.

2.  Place a piece of masking tape on each item sent in and clearly write the SRA# and your name.

3.  All repairs must be shipped in factory packing only.  PSS will not be responsible for any shipping damage.  Damage claims are to be filed with the carrier and are the responsibilty of the customer.

4.  Items shipped to PSS must include a copy of the completed SRA Request Form and the SRA# must be clearly written on the outside of the package.  Any packages received without the SRA# clearly written on the outside of the package will be refused.  See Shipping address below.

 

PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • All "no problem found" repairs will incur a bench charge, as well as a return shipping charge.
  • All non-warranty repairs are payable by credit card only (NO COD OR BILLING).
  • Items not called for within 60 days will be disposed of.

TO SHIP EQUIPMENT TO PRO SOUND SERVICE INC. TO REPAIR: 

Pack your unit carefully. Please include all necessary accessories (i.e.; remote control and all cables), they are often necessary for certain testing procedures (and note accessories you are including on the Form). Use sturdy boxes (We recommend double-boxing if possible) as we will return your unit to you using the same box and packaging. If you have no box(es) or packing material, we suggest using a professional shipping service, such as Mailboxes, Etc or The UPS Store.

 

If the cost of repairing your unit is $125.00 or less (not including shipping charges), we will proceed with the repair and notify you upon completion to arrange payment.  If the cost will exceed $125.00, we will contact you with an estimate.  Units are returned via UPS.  You will be responsible for all related shipping expenses. 

 

TO DROP OFF EQUIPMENT TO PRO SOUND SERVICE INC TO REPAIR:

We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express (NO COD OR BILLING).

 

Items not picked up within 60 days of completion will be disposed of.
