It is the balance of sound and silence that enhances the quality of any religious service. The prayers must be as quiet in the music as dynamic. And in a large sanctuary achieving that balance is exceptionally challenging. The sound system must work as one to reach into the smallest seat in the farthest corner of the church without overpowering the rest of the congregation, and at the same time not sound like a sports-arena public address system.
